Would it matter at all?
After listening to skillet-would it matter at all, I got a little depressed. The song's lyrics spoke exactly the same of my worries- If I wasn't here tommorrow, would anybody care? Everyone wished to be love, and I wish to be too, I wished to be cherished by my friends, and forge strong bonds with them. I wish to be cared and wish to be remembered too. This song is really incredible, as it evokes a solemn feeling from me, and make me feel really depressed...though it makes me depressed, I would still listen to it, as whoever who sang this sang as though he was really alone in the world, nobody remembered him, such powerful voice with sorrow and understanding. Also, I wish to make people happy too, I hope that my friends would enjoy the time I spent with them(although I guess I am asking too much from my friends as I think give their character, they will forget me sooner or later if I lose contact with them, except for a few exceptionals, which you can count with the fingers that you have. As the lyric says" I know I'm a mess and I wanna be someone, someone I like better.......". I dont actually find mysef a mess but yes I do want to be someone. I wish to be someone with a high EQ, someone who is welcomed. Sometimes its really hard to be yourself when your character is different from your classmates, some of them are really nice, some of them I would say otherwise, are a tiny weeny mean. Some(not all) are self centered, and most of them feel like I am childish, which I totally disagree with. What exactly is wrong with playing catching? Is it a sin? Why do they brand me as childish just because I love to play catching? I know I am digging up something in the past, but I am sure thats still their impression of me-a childish kid who loves to play catching. I would really love to correct them, telling them that catching is a form of sport where only the fastest, most agile can survive and emerge victorious. A gruelling games which you need speed, agility, stamina, and comanions to survive. But would it matter? They would just it aside, insisting that its a childish games. But the main reason why I think they don't really like the game is because they are not too atheletic and fast, thus, not wanting to embarrass themselves, they refrain from it and look down upon the game that they themselves cannot excel in. Back to the point, in the class where people brand innocent people who does not really excel in vulgar(I found out about the colourful words in sec one), wish to refrain from talking vulgar, likes to play catchin, and a loyal friend if you're my best friend childish. Thus sometimes, I had to act harsh and become someone who I'm not. But know, I have learnt that being yourself is the best way to solve all these problems. Let them complain about you, your childishness, stay strong and believe in yourself, act like yourself, and be confident, that is the true way to let them know who you really are, your inner self, and let them accept you. Its ok to make mistakes, but change them, show them your sincerity, and they will certainly open up to you.
